Weather in South Tyrol
The weather in the coming days.
Today
Current weather
In South Tyrol, clouds will prevail and there will be light snowfall at times along the border with North Tyrol, especially between the Pfitschertal valley and the rear Ahrntal valley. The south and the Dolomites will see the most sunshine.
Temperatures
After a very frosty morning, afternoon temperatures will range from -1° in Bruneck to +5° in Bozen.
Next evolution
Wednesday will bring low stratus clouds to the southern and central parts of the region at first. Otherwise, there will be a pleasant mix of sunshine and high clouds.
On Thursday, it will be quite sunny after local low stratus clouds patches clear. The high clouds will also move eastwards.
On Friday, clouds will predominate, with the sun only appearing intermittently.
Saturday will be heavily cloudy, with light precipitation possible in some areas.
Weather in the mountains
Weather in the mountains
A warm front will be steered towards the Alps by a northwesterly upper-level flow.
Cloud and fog will reduce visibility, especially along the alpine crest. At times, light snowfall is possible in these areas. Further south and across the Dolomites, conditions will be variably cloudy with some sunshine.
Mountain weather tomorrow
A weak high-pressure system is bringing calm weather.
Extensive high clouds far above the peaks provide subdued sunshine and, in some cases, diffuse lighting conditions. Overall, however, the impression is predominantly pleasant.
